I decided to look at the driver source now. And I think I found the bug. If
what I think is right, the bug was introduced in version 10.0.7 (Apr 10 2005)
of the driver, and it still exists in current 10.0.11 (Jan 8, 2006). I will
warn the driver developer sometime soon.

So, forget about this. If users start complaining, we can just create a FAQ
entry for it.
