INN has support for UUCP, it's just not emphasized because it's not a 
common configuration.  Perhaps one of the people using UUCP can tell you 
more about it.

Did you read the INSTALL file?

Believe it or not, the comment there is correct.  If you read the section 
of newsfeeds(5) about the special ME entry, it tries to explain.

The part of the ME entry after the / applies to incoming articles, but the 
part before the / applies only to outgoing articles.  Yes, this is 
confusing -- check the manpage and tell me if you're still confused.

What does `telnet server 119` show?  (You may want to issue MODE READER 
and then LIST.)
