RE: Any plans on adding ability to store cache todisk?

Indeed DNSMasq is a great piece of software...

I'd say that 'persistent' cache is not a desired feature, since it implies
in implement a bunch of new controls, like controlling if an entry is still
valid or not. As an example, image all the dinamic IPs... In fact is thinked
to be only a "run-time" DNS-cache, so what would the problem on rebuild the
cache on every reboot? In fact, how to control if an entry is still of
interest? And if there is no such a control, the 'persistent' cache could
grow to big space... ;)

But is's still a great tool...
