Hi Y'all,
I recently upgraded my DNS servers to BIND 9.2.1...and have been
seeing a problem in the zone transfers. My xfer_log has the following type
errors in it:
Sep 23 16:45:52.668 xfer-in: error: transfer of 'xxx.yyy.IN-ADDR.ARPA/IN'
from aaa.bbb.ccc.d#53: failed while receiving responses: end of file
Sep 23 16:45:52.668 xfer-in: info: transfer of 'xxx.yyy.IN-ADDR.ARPA/IN'
from aaa.bbb.ccc.d#53: end of transfer
The server the zone is being transferred from is a BIND 8 revision
server...and has been successfully sending the zone for quite a while before
the upgrade on the receiving end.
I've wandered thru the literature, and haven't seen any references
to this. Just wondered if anyone has encountered this problem...any
suggestions are gratefully accepted.
