InterNIC registration: primary or secondary DNS server

BIND users,
One of our primary DNS server will be moved into a secondary status. IP 
address remains the same.

Is it necessary to re-register with InterNIC? Does it matter that the DNS 
server registered with InterNIC is not primary?
