Subject: Size of glue records.

Does Bind return everything with the glue record?
If the nameserers had A, AAAA, and A6 records would all
of those records be returned?

Here is a quick sample:

The domain being queried 'domaina.com':
www.domaina.com A 11.13.15.16
domaina.com NS ns1.domainb.com
domaina.com NS ns2.domainb.com
domaina.com NS ns3.domainb.com
domaina.com NS ns4.domainb.com

The domain running the nameserver 'domainb.com':
ns1.domainb.com A 12.13.14.15
ns1.domainb.com AAAA ::1
ns1.domainb.com A6 0 3ffe:8050:201:1860::
ns2.domainb.com A 12.13.14.16
ns2.domainb.com AAAA ::1
ns2.domainb.com A6 0 3ffe:8050:201:1860::
ns3.domainb.com A 12.13.14.17
ns3.domainb.com AAAA ::1
ns3.domainb.com A6 0 3ffe:8050:201:1860::
ns4.domainb.com A 12.13.14.18
ns4.domainb.com AAAA ::1
ns4.domainb.com A6 0 3ffe:8050:201:1860::

(Please excuse the invalid records for example purposes. :-) )

So now if someone asks for www.domaina.com what comes over on the
glue record?

Just the 4 A records of the nameservers? Or all of the A, AAAA,
and A6 records? That is a lot of bandwidth it needs then huh?

Thanks for explaining this to me.
-Steve
