% Is it possible to query for a list of all domains on the nameserver ? % % BR % % Rex Petersen yes. three ways come to mind: 1) this one is very time consuming and will likely anoy the nameserver admins and upstream ISPs. and you might want to do it now, before active support for 8bit-clean lables is widely deployed. once deployed, your search space will be much larger. what you will have to do is check for all possible character combinations within the lable length restrictions and iterate for the maximum possible lable length. or, as the nameserver operator for the list or, become the nameserver operator and check the configuration yourself --bill Opinions expressed may not even be mine by the time you read them, and certainly don't reflect those of any other entity (legal or otherwise). |
