Ping Check befor delete

Hey all,

We still have the Problem, that w2k client do not renew their
IP-Address. So the Sever delets th DDNS eintry after the lease is
expired. We have no chance to get this solved with MS so I have an
idea:

Is it possible to do a Ping check befor deleting? If Ping dosenot work,
the client is deletet else renew the lease ...

Also after updating to rc11 I still get the error:
Jan 30 16:22:09 anup33 dhcpd: [ID 702911 local7.error] tree.c(4069):
non-null pointer

Thought this will be fixed.
