Hmm,

That depends. As long as you don't set "dhcp source verify" you will see
no difference. dhcp source verify *will* use DHCPLEASEQUERY and depends
on it. With dhcp source verify the CMTS will only accept a new client
when the DHCP server information is consistent with the information from
the client, which is gleaned from (I seem to remember) the DHCP REQUEST
message.

Same for exact functionality.
