Re: drops received data when receive rate is not throttled: msg#00001network.bit-torrent.rtorrent.devel
Okay, I built 0.11.1 with curl 7.16.0. Tried. Instead of wasting bandwidth as before, it _kicked_ the peer immediately! They all get disconnected just after few seconds of burst download. Too bad. I think its behaviour is just same as before: lowering receive throttle just a bit solves the problem. Actual rate threshold differs per peer. For example, one uTorrent 1.6.0.0 peer runs fine at 180kb/s (goes bad at 200kb/s), but another uTorrent 1.6.0.0 peer keeps dying at only 40kb/s. This is not uTorrent specific, today I saw some Mainline 5.0.0 and Azureus 2.5.0.0 kicked too. (so far none of known-to-be-forgetful comets are kicked, but I guess it's because they stupids are always behind very slow and bad wire) --- oops I forgot sending to list. resending, sorry |
