cvs head updated: asio, web seed and test with sequential downloading: msg#00050network.bit-torrent.libtorrent
The cvs head has been updated with the changes from the libtorrent_asio branch. As the branch name suggests, the big new thing is the use of the asio library instead of the previous home brewed one. Asio is not included in the cvs, but the build files will assume that the asio library is put in the libtorrent directory. The release package will include it though. Another new feature is the support for web seeds. This is described in more detail in the documentation. The last, kindof experimental, thing is the support for downloading pieces in an ordered sequence /if they are popular enough/. i.e. if enough peers have the pieces. So, for poorly seeded torrents, the behaviour is still rarest first. The intention, and hopes, are that it will improve disk performance on well seeded torrents. Please report any problems encountered with this version, as it will be branched for release very soon. -- Arvid Norberg ------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
