old style getargs format uses new features

When trying to run btlaunchcursesmany.py from the latest CVS version I
get:

SystemError: old style getargs format uses new features


I'm using python2 2.1.1-3.72 - hopefully there is a workaround for the
above that will allow BitTorrent to work for my version of python2. 
Until one is found, I'll comment this line out and run without a border.
