I don't know if this is any help but I posted the below in response to
the JBSWU problem reported by Yuri in his latest port. When there is a
password in the file JBSWU cannot connect and then gives the same
error.
It's creating gui_rpc_auth.cfg and putting a password into it, as the
windows version does, if the file is not present. The fix is to edit
the file and remove the password, JBSWU doesn't support passwords.
