I think I've read something about ftp installation isn't working
properly. Do you know anything about it?
.... It seems that you are using inst kernel before 3.1.
As you know, Hauke Fath has fixed that problem. (Many thanks to
Hauke.)
I did? I fixed the sysinst Installer, but until Nuno's mail I
didn't even
know there was an issue with installing over ftp. Which still
surprises me
a bit, since I did install over NFS when I tested the installer.
Hi,
I'm surprised and embarassed in reading this.
(... or, maybe I should say "Sorry" at first for my poor English
and 'swallowing'.) Now I see some more than before, thanks.

but panics with ftp install when trying to get distribution.
kazu:
Inst kernel before Oct 23 2006 causes that panic.
like this;

I saw also "No space left on device" error during to get
distribution on the several kind of Macs, but I'm not surely
remember if it was on SE/30 or others.
Needless to say,
NetBSD 3.1 (INSTALL) #0: Tue Oct 31 04:44:26 UTC 2006
does not make such panic on SE/30.
Now I think Nuno is using 3.1 Sysinst, I wonder why it does't
work ... Nuno, could you tell more details to us ?

I sat down yesterday afternoon, and exchanged all the electrolyte

Congratulations ! :)
Please check and correct what I say with your happy SE/30.
