Hudson Cafeteria has launched its exciting new weekly party by adding
to its menu dishes and drinks inspired by North Africa, incorporating
Moroccan herbs and spices in dishes such as Grilled Swordfish Kebabs,
served with vegetable couscous, olive salad, preserved lemons and a
creamy harissa sauce; or Zahtar Spiced Chicken Paillard; as well as
various Middle Eastern inspired appetizer specials including
Pistachio Crusted Goat Cheese and Phyllo triangles.
For dessert, Saffron Rice Pudding served with fresh fruit is a
favorite, while the Honey Almond Pastry Roll served with halvah ice
cream compl etes the experience.
Moroccan inspired cocktails have been specially created for the
occasion including the Kasbah, using orange blossom water and Stoli
O, the Marrakech Martini with rose water, Cointreau, gin, molasses
and pomegranate and the Fez with Chambord, Absolut Kurrant, and sour
cherry syrup.
On the turntables, Producer Dub Gabriel is one
of the leading innovators in Ethnic Beat Culture.
Combining the urban landscape of New York City with the rich textures
of India, Africa and the Middle East.
