Subject: Re: list etiquette question

definitely make the city (and country if city doesn't make it obvious) clear to someone skimming the subject line. there is nothing more annoying that having to dig to somewhere in the middle near the bottom of some wack-formatted announcement to find out where the hell its located. wait, yes there is: having to do it 10 times a day.

you might also want to include some salacious charge somewhere near the top of the email like "BoC are gay" or "I met Sean and Rob and its pronounced 'Oh-tach-erey'" to get some attention.

hi all,

just wondering what the standard etiquette is on this list regarding
event promotions. do you use the [BSP] (blatant self promotion) tag
as well as the city the event is happening in? I may soon be posting
an ad for an upcoming SF show (hint: it's going to be LIVE and wicked)
and don't want to piss off any of my new friends in the process. thanks in advance.
