For Flac files you want to use ALBUMARTIST. BAND is the label
generally used to mean the TPE2 field in mp3 id3v2 tags. Whether
they're equivalent or not, I'm not certain. I think SlimServer creates
different contributor "roles" for BAND/TPE2 vs. ALBUMARTIST, but for
practical purposes (sorting, searching) I believe they're equivalent.

I have that same album in my library and tag it in Flac as follows:

ALBUM=Duets
ALBUMARTIST=Frank Sinatra
ARTIST=Frank Sinatra
ARTIST=Luther Vandross
TITLE=The Lady Is A Tramp
TRACKNUMBER=1

I avoid using multiple ARTISTSORT tags when there are multiple ARTIST
tags in a file.

I also keep an mp3 mirror of the library. It's tagged using id3v2 as
follows:

TALB(ALBUM)=Duets
TPE2(BAND)=Frank Sinatra
TPE1(ARTIST)=Frank Sinatra;Luther Vandross
TIT2(TITLE)=The Lady Is A Tramp
TRCK(TRACKNUMBER)=1

Note that the TPE2 frame is technically native only to id3v2.4, but
SlimServer has no issues reading it if found in an id3v2.3 tag.

I believe (haven't experimented yet) that with mp3 files and id3v2 tags
you can also use the Flac field names in TXXX (user defined) frames. In
that case you would just use a TXXX of ALBUMARTIST.
