Re: flac2mp3 v0.2.9 is available

I?m having problems with getting flac2mp3 set up on windows XP similar
to the problems DeWayne was having (12/18 posting, to 12/20).  

I started with the latest version 2.9 and then tried 2.7 after noting
that 2.8 was not Windows tested as of 12/20.  In both cases I get error
messages concerning finding the lame or flac executables.  

In 2.9, I tried to specify the path to lame.exe and flac.exe but got
errors that I think may be due to corrupting the flac2mp3.pl file by
saving it as a text file in Word.  (How does one edit this file without
changing its properties?)  So I decided to not edit that file and make
sure lame.exe and flac.exe were in ?the path.?  I initially assumed
being in the path means they are in the same folder as flac2mp3.pl, or
in a folder beneath that folder, so I inserted lame and flac folders in
the folder containing flac2mp3.pl.  That didn?t work, so I copied
flac.exe and lame.exe into the flac2mp3.pl folder, as well as dll
files.  (Does flac2mp3 need any auxiliary files associated with lame or
flac?)  That didn?t work either.

Then I tried version 2.7 with the same results.  I attach a screen shot
of that session.  

Please help.
