Surely slimdevices needs to sort the software out. There is clearly a problem with the way slimserver recognises (or doesn't) the album artist field in tags. The program is extremely customisable, but not when it comes to browsing or the way in which ss reads tags. I have now spent two days searching for a solution to the problem of various artist albums. The program does not recognise album artist fields (written by several different taggers) Every solution leads to some other problem or need for compromise.
