Re: Do tools exist to verify your library?: msg#00333music.equipment.slimdevices.ripping
1. No idea, the next version of TagsRevisited will warn about it based on the totaltracks property. 2. FreeDB is not really a good way to check for exact tags. For many CDs, there are multiple entries, some with the Artist in the Title field, some all uppercase, etc.. 3. tag data or music data? 4. Checksums of tags make no real sense due to the above probably; checksums of data neither unless you're using a lossless codec, because otherwise different encoders and quality settings just result in different files and thus checksums. Can recommend MusicBrainz as well though, it's not always perfect, but very very helpful. -- CCRDude ------------------------------------------------------------------------ CCRDude's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8478 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=31054 |
