Re: FLAC Compression Setting Impact

By using any compression higher than the default 5 you will gain only
very little diskspace. If 5 compresses to 60% of the original wav file
size, 8 compresses to about 59% but takes roughly 4-5 times longer.
Just use the default and you'll be fine.
Decoding of flac is virtually independent of compression levels.
