Re: mp3gain alternatives?: msg#00285music.equipment.slimdevices.ripping
Any particular reason not to use mp3gain? I want to use it because the command line interface is useful for scripting. Can you apply ReplayGain with foobar from the commandline? Some more research seems to indicate that mp3gain can set the gain tags without modifying the mp3frames if you don't apply the gain to the tracks (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?AutomaticVolumeAdjustment). There seems to be indication that this is what "mp3gain *.mp3" does (i.e. no /a or /r switches used). - Ray -- RainmanRam ------------------------------------------------------------------------ RainmanRam's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7477 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=30936 |
