Re: Ripping/Organization Best Practices?: msg#00274music.equipment.slimdevices.ripping
Agreed with all the above. While classical listeners might benefit the most from the possibilities offered by software playback, they are the least supported/understood. I started ripping, but stopped after the first 10 cd's turned out to be rubbish. The "support" for the composer tag is a laugh. So I'm following this forum but not actively using SS as it just doesn't fit my music. It should be at least possible to select a work and have it play the whole work in the correct order. While we are at it may I ask for support for a "verzeignis" tag? I would love to be able to see what I have for BWV565, WQ182 or KV177 and select from that. Sometimes "instrument" and "key" tags might be useful as well. -- Havoc ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Havoc's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5064 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=30859 |
