Subject: Re: ripping cds as complete albums - msg#00134List: music.equipment.slimdevices.rippingI re-downloaded Flac and Eac, and set the compression parameters as suggested. EAC reads the file, writes it as a .wav and then fires up flac. However flac doesn't seem to do anything, and - when I test it using only one track - it (EAC) reads on the bottom of the screen '1 compression task left'. Any ideas? I'm not moobaa, but when I have duplicate tracks, I just make a softlink from one to the other. If they are identical, I just pick one. If there are audible differences, I pick the one that sounds better (from an engineering viewpoint).
