Subject: Videobox and SB2 - msg#00001List: music.equipment.slimdevices.pluginsI have tried to get videobox plugin to work with my squeezebox 2 but without success. I found a post that presumably updates the plugin so that it works with sb2 and slimserver 6.1b but still I was unable to get it to work. It could be that I am not installing the videbox software correctly. I must confess that I have some difficulty understanding the videobox documentation. Can anyone help? First, can anyone say for certain that videobox works with sb2? Second, what are the steps to installation?
Thanks,

That was just a vague possibility. Have you tried the place I suggested to put them in? That is, either in your own personal Library folder or in the Library folder at the top level of your hard drive there will be a folder called SlimDevices. Inside that folder create (if it's not there already) a folder called Plugins and put the plugins in there. But, as I said, they should work where you have put them. The key may be the HTML folder, though my guess would be that although this is needed to make the plugin work but that the plugin should show up (maybe in the Web interface, maybe on the SB, perhaps both) without that. I would try putting the contents of the HTML folder for Biography (the file in the folder for the other plugin is included in this) into a folder called HTML (or html) in the SlimDevices folder. I haven't used either of these plugins, so I'm not sure. And if Michael doesn't happen to be reading these forums to give a definitive answer, go to where you got the plugin, choose SlimSuff Home (extreme left) and at the bottom of that page is a link where you can email him. -- danco Previous Message by Thread: click to view message previewRe: Problem with "PublicRadioFanBrowser.pm"For my experience on a similar issue with the pubradiofan, go here.
