RE: Ax100 and JV1010: How can I chainge to Categorys/bank sounds? Hrm...: msg#00256music.equipment.midi-guitar
A good way to use the 1010 (or any JV/XV synth) with midi guitar is to use SoundDiver to load your favorite singles into the USER bank. You may also want to set their bend ranges to +12/-12 here... Then create a PERFORMANCE that employs six USER PRESETS across six channels (typically 1-6 or 11-16). You will need a different PERFORMANCE for each type of global effect you want to use with a given load of presets. I find that setting the effect source in PERF to PART works fine. Set the Multi control channel to something OUTSIDE of that range. Then, sending prog change messages will select from your user bank to load the multi. Another method is to prepare each of your favorite sounds as a multi, leave the axon preset alone, and select from among your JV/XV multis by sending PC messages on the Multi control channel. -- </M@> > -----Original Message----- > From: one [mailto:one@xxxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Friday, February 28, 2003 3:36 PM > To: midiguitar@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [midiguitar] Ax100 and JV1010: How can I chainge to > Categorys/bank sounds?
