That is what confuses me. You wouldn't be able to get the best sound
using an active pickup and then a passive pickup because the active
will outpower the passive so much more, but if you are only using the
active pickup, then I am sure it works fine. And I still dont see
how the 505 can be a fender telecaster clone, it is nothing like a
tele. Tele's all have a different body, one pickup usually, and the
tele bridge. The 505 however, has a strat body, 3 single coils like
strats, and a whammy bar like strats...lol I guess they can say its a
copy of whatever, but it sure is a poor copy if its supposed to be a
telecaster.
