Re: Old Roland equipment value: msg#00236music.equipment.midi-guitar
That is what confuses me. You wouldn't be able to get the best sound using an active pickup and then a passive pickup because the active will outpower the passive so much more, but if you are only using the active pickup, then I am sure it works fine. And I still dont see how the 505 can be a fender telecaster clone, it is nothing like a tele. Tele's all have a different body, one pickup usually, and the tele bridge. The 505 however, has a strat body, 3 single coils like strats, and a whammy bar like strats...lol I guess they can say its a copy of whatever, but it sure is a poor copy if its supposed to be a telecaster. --- In midiguitar@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, Richard Kilpatrick <richard@xxxx> wrote: > In message <000201c2db90$bbee37c0$43a8a8c0@xxxx>, Matt Picone > <matman@xxxx> writes > >EMG Makes passive pickups too. > > Mine is an active humbucker - got a 9V battery in the back ;) > > Richard > -- > Richard Kilpatrick, long haired prophet of doom. |\ _,,,-- -,,_ > Musical suicide - www.mp3.com/RichardKilpatrick /,`.-'`' - . ;-;;, > Work: Icon Publications, Group Sales Manager |,4- ) )- ,_. ,\ ( `'::. > Homepage: http://www.dmc12.demon.co.uk/ '----''(_/--' `- '\_)Morticia --to unsubscribe send a blank message to midiguitar-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Your use of Yahoo!
