Subject: RE: What did I go & do...Buy a Brian Moore!!

I am glad to hear lots of positive comments about BMG and their guitars. I
had a great experience with them after I bought my i9.13 and promptly
dropped it on the 13-pin input with the cord in which broke the RMC jack. I
took the guitar to the factory and they sent it right back to me with
minimal cost. Even met me on a Saturday and gave me a tour of the factory.
Really great people.
As for the guitar it has been mostly fantastic. I did not do a great
inspection when I bought it and found later it has some (4 or 5) high frets.
I had a luthier tell me the frets are over-hanging the edge of the neck too
much but it doesn't bother me. He may have trying to get a bit of work out
of me as I have seen this in other guitars and unless you play with your
thumb on top its not a big deal. The over-hang may have come from shrinkage
in my dry ass studio. The high frets are nothing I told them about when it
was in the factory or I am sure they would have taken care of it. This type
of thing is not unusual with new low to mid level guitars. I should have
noticed it and made the dealer do a crown and polish. It's too late now
though. I'll just do it myself one of these days.
I finally got a Fishman DI/Preamp for the RMC and it sounds great. There
was that additional cost which I did not recognize before I bought it. It
is now my main stage guitar because of its versatility and I might buy a
custom shop model one of these days.
