My current stuff is in CVS. 

In camlibs/ptp2/library.c, #define ENABEL_PTPIP at the beginning
and in Makefile.am move ptpip.c to the ptp2_la_SOURCES line.

Then "make" should build the support.

Currently hardcoded is my machine GUID in ptpip.c, your camera
might refuse it.

Otherwise it should work.
