HP Photosmart E317v is it a good choice ?

I mentioned earlier that I want a camera that can be controlled using
PTP including taking a photo and shipping it to computer, adjusting
settings, etc.

Is the E317v a good choice ?
The HP website says little and
the HP support team referred me to
the website when I asked about PTP.
