Please add to list : Sony CyberShot DSC-S60: msg#00036multimedia.gphoto.devel
Gents/Ladies, I am happy to announce you can add this model [Sony CyberShot DSC-S60] to your growing list of supported products. I was able to transfer the files (jpeg & mpeg) using the usb_mass_storage and the ptp through gphoto with this, and no tinkering whatsoever. -> no real surprise as most of it's siblings also responded as such. note : the camera in itself though is not a charm to use, but the quality of both pics and movies is quite good for a unit sold approx $280 cdn (reg., I got mine on special at business depot for $199. It also has a combo proprietary (to camera) connector with a std usb and audio/video jacks, which is a nice touch. Voilà. Have a good day.
