(Windows "Search can not find bookmarks.html, which is the name of the bookmarks file, according to Mozilla Help. I tried to navigate Mozilla's bug reporting system, but I got confused (ok - impatient is more like it). Needless to say, I'm spooked (and losing faith in Mozilla). Nothing like this ever happened to me with IE. Now, I've lost data twice within 4 months! (FYI that's 49 days 17 hours 2 minutes and 47.296 seconds) Because of the way I use my computer, and the frequency of security flaw patches from MS, it is unlikely my computer will ever be up the long without a reboot. Do you have a backup of your profile? If not, your bookmarks.html file may indeed be gone. File loss/corruption can happen for a variety of reasons.
