is there something special about newDoc ?

Am I correct in thinking that  newDoc is the ONLY acceptable variable name
within an HTML docs?

        var newDoc = document.implementation.createDocument("", "", null);

If I attempt to use any other variable name some kind of error is generated
???

Is this some kind of namespace issue ?

PS The HTML document is loaded into a XUL iframe
