release open config files when reloading: msg#00040monitoring.monit.general
hi we are running monit version 4.5.1 in an ha cluster using it to control and monitor our vserver's. in this setup we add and remove config files which will be included by an globbing include. now if the globbing returns less files than in a previous reload, monit will not release the open config files even if it does not consider them anymore. so we have to kill -9 it (in order to keep the status file). is there a way to implement closing stale files in a reload? regards, martin. ___________________________________________________________________ Martin Rueegg Owner and IT staff member http://metaworx.ch metaworx rueegg mailto:support@xxxxxxxxxxx Site Office Germany Head Office Switzerland Birkentalstrasse 4 Brandgrubenstrasse 23 DE-97209 Veitshoechheim CH-8610 Uster tel: +49 (931) 970 90 30 tel: +41 (44) 99 44 044 fax: +49 (931) 970 90 88 fax: +41 (44) 99 44 043 gsm: +49 (1520) 8 563 549 gsm: +41 (79) 312 50 15 mailto:mrueegg@xxxxxxxxxxx skype: martin.rueegg ___________________________________________________________________ -- To unsubscribe: http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/monit-general |
