You should run Kannels in separate machines to get better performance. Many
Kannel can very well listen one SMSC.
this is just to help kannel have a

200000 msg/hour is about 60 msg/s. One Kannel can very well handle this. As
I
said, we have run tests with 400 msg/s mah hours (with two Kannel) without
problems.

Thanks Shridhar, so if i put that %s as a parameter in the URL, it is not
possible to have a blank second word?
so do i declare two groups for it? One with a parameter passing (URL) and
one with no parameter but a static reply(TEXT)?

Thanks Aarno,
Would it slow down the system if i open a multiple instances of kannel?
let's say 4 bearerbox and 4 smsbox? this is just to help kannel have a
better distribution of incoming and outgoing traffic, currently, with 1
instance its doing fine, but i have to find a better way to make it
smoother in operation. My concern now is what happens if i get 200K of msgs
in an hour? would it crash the kannel? the OS? not counting the response of
php and open sessions of inserting of data to mysql? If anybody had an
experience with this, let me know and how to prevent it happening.
Having faith in kannel,
Caesare

If you mean big operator logos, UDH is the same, make sure you have the
correct width and height in the data for tje logo. Not all phone can
display large OLOGOs.
The other option is picture messages, which can be bigger, but not all
phones support, and requires a different UDH to operator logos.
