I have also deleted all of the contacts from the phone. You haven't. BitPim thinks there are two entries on the phone and they have international characters in them. You haven't included the log leading up to this so I can't tell exactly what happened. Chances are the VX6100 has the same bug as the VX7000 which means that the phone misbehaves if there are no entries on it. Try creating one entry on the phone first.
