This is what BitPim does in converting wav & mp3 files to qcp ones. Additionally, BitPim also does clipping & volume adjustment, all in one step (as far as the user is concerned). I use PMD extensions for these files because the phone wouldn't recognize them otherwise. I'll try putting them in the mms directory and see if that makes any differences, but I doubt it since they are the SAME files.
