I'm reading this as to say that the code in the BitPim is not The code specifically written to deal with the copy the calendar to and from the phone for LG phones is broken. It wasn't finished during the 0.6 releases but mostly worked for the VX4400. The other LG models inherit the VX4400 code, usually without changes. During the 0.7 the internal format in BitPim was upgraded as well to be more complete while retaining backwards compatibility with the old LG code. So basically the LG calendar code is really behind the times and was incomplete the last time it was touched. Noone (including myself) has stepped up to complete it.
