I believe the bug I fixed was more to do with a GUI formatting issue than
an internal data management issue. My guess is that the developer
responsible for the LG VX6000 will need to look at this problem.

Also note that at least on the LG VX3200 I have discovered that selecting
and writing ringers associated with a phonebook entry has limitations due
to the phone. I do not know if the LG VX6000 is better or worse in this
regard. See the BitPim v7.34 LG-VX3200 Notes Help for more info.
