Subject: unable to add raw/unprocessed image files using bitpim-0.7.34 under Fedora Core 4

Hello,

I am unable to add raw/unprocessed image files using bitpim-0.7.34.
Actually, I have not been able to do this using any version of bitpim
since this feature was introduced in version 0.7.30.

The behavior I observe is as follows: While holding down a shift key
(either one) and clicking on the "Add" button in the Wallpaper tab, a
file selection dialog is opened. When I select a file in this dialog,
the image is opened up in the same image-cropping page I get when I
perform the same operation _without_ holding a shift key down and
clicking on the "Add" button. That is, holding down a shift key while
clicking on the "Add" button seems to have no effect. This behavior is
100% reproducible in my case.

Note that I am able to upload/download ringtones, wallpapers,
phonebooks, etc. successfully. I am just unable to upload
raw/unprocessed images.

Some information:

- Which version of BitPim you are using
0.7.34

- What operating system you are using
Linux (Fedora Core 4, 2.6.12-1.1398_FC4)

- Which cell phone you are talking to (make and model)
Samsung SCH-a670

- What cable you are using to talk to the phone
not sure of the make; I bought it at Radio Shack

Thanks for any suggestions.
Alvin
