I can’t help you with the specifics of your phone not talking to the computer other than you might want to run through the set up procedures again to be sure the correct settings are there.  Also it was a good thing to delete your phone book off the phone.  If you weren’t having the connection problem you would still have a problem with your phone book.  There has been a lot of talk about that issue on the list.  I found out the hard way too!

Good luck, I’m sure someone can help you out

Importance: High

I had to have my LG VX6000 replaced due to external speaker problems.

Verizon transferred my phone book over and I am getting the attached exception error when I try to get phone from the data.

The replacement phone did not have any of my speed dials and where there were more than one number for an entry it re-organized them all...

I've deleted the entire phone book off of my phone, thinking that was what was wrong, but I still can't get the phone to talk with the computer...

I have a lot of contacts that I'd like to have back into my phone.  I also would like to upload my ring tones and wallpapers...

I am running Windows XP and Bitpim 7.29

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
