Subject: Re: Exception error

Well, it appears unable to open a connection to your phone because it is unable to find the usb device. Choose Edit | Settings in BitPim and look at the Com Port setting. Is it set to Auto? Try clicking the browse button, does BitPim find the phone? I don't know anything specific about that phone, but does it have an option to turn on/off the data port that is perhaps turned off right now?

I had to have my LG VX6000 replaced due to external speaker problems.

Verizon transferred my phone book over and I am getting the attached exception error when I try to get phone from the data.

The replacement phone did not have any of my speed dials and where there were more than one number for an entry it re-organized them all...

I've deleted the entire phone book off of my phone, thinking that was what was wrong, but I still can't get the phone to talk with the computer...

I have a lot of contacts that I'd like to have back into my phone. I also would like to upload my ring tones and wallpapers...

I am running Windows XP and Bitpim 7.29

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
