RE: Calendar - Can't transfer to vx6100: msg#00266mobile.bitpim.user
Sorry. I wasn't clear. I was only referring to the transfer of calendar data between BitPim and vx6100 - not between BitPim and Outlook (which isn't implemented at all). To wit: BitPim can READ calendar data FROM vx6100 but not WRITE to it. I forgot the calendar is not fully implemented because it DOES read FROM the phone. It just doesn't write TO the phone. If WRITING can be fixed, we can at least use BitPim to fetch, view, and tweak calendar events within BitPim's simple but effective Calendar. That would be beneficial to some and valuable to that rare species of human that doesn't currently use any other type of PC calendar. -Kash -----Original Message----- From: bitpim-user-admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bitpim-user-admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mark Faust Sent: Wednesday, March 30, 2005 6:46 AM To: bitpim-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: [BitPim-user] Calendar - Can't transfer to vx6100 Dennis, I also have a VX6100...Can you tell me the name of the program you used to transfer the outlook calendar to your 6100?? I was told that bitpim is not able to write calendar back to the 6100 Seems strange to me to have that option available, but not work... maybe someday someone will come along with the knowledge of how to do this and donate their time and code to the effort I ended up purchasing a program that transfers my calendar from outlook to my 6100.
