Got it, thanks. Then, is this the world's oddest line continuation convention? It is more of a container format than a line continuation used rather than trying to stuff everything into a single line/field. Too bad the whole VCard shtick was in place before XML got popular. One of the Vcard goals was that it is readable. XML doesn't meet that goal.
