RE: Calendar - Can't transfer to vx6100: msg#00259mobile.bitpim.user
Re BitPim x.28 with vx6100 v2. I'm also having some glitches with BitPim calendar - namely transferring BitPim calendar events back to my vx6100. I initially had copied *everything* from the vx6100 to BitPim (replace all). I then made some calendar changes in BitPim (deleted some events). After that, when I tried to transfer the BitPim calendar back to the vx6100, I kept received a BitPim transfer error. I then deleted a few more BitPim calendar events, one at a time, trying to transfer the entire remaining BitPim calendar back to vx6100 but kept getting the same transfer failure each time. Only when I deleted all entries in the BitPim calendar was I able to execute a complete transfer of the BitPim calendar back to the vx6100 (even though it was effectively empty of events). Stranger still, shortly after this transfer of the empty BitPim calendar back to the phone, the phone chimed up with an appointment of date 0/0/0 at time 0:0. Very strange. Will send log if I get it to happen again. -----Original Message----- From: bitpim-user-admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bitpim-user-admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Richard Lund Sent: Wednesday, March 30, 2005 12:55 AM To: bitpim-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [BitPim-user] Calendar - can't we enter time anymore? Hi, I thought I had found that I could enter appointments directly in BitPim and transfer them to my phone. Well, the Calendar is still there, but when I enter a new appointment, I cannot choose a time anymore. Am I missing something, or was that taken out for a reason? Also, in SMS (nice feature!), will there be a way to delete only single messages instead of all? BTW: I am using a Samsung SCH-A670 in case you need to know to answer my questions.
