Calendar - can't we enter time anymore?

Hi,

I thought I had found that I could enter appointments directly in BitPim 
and transfer them to my phone.
Well, the Calendar is still there, but when I enter a new appointment, I 
cannot choose a time anymore.

Am I missing something, or was that taken out for a reason?

Also, in SMS (nice feature!), will there be a way to delete only single 
messages instead of all?

BTW: I am using a Samsung SCH-A670 in case you need to know to answer my 
questions.
