It seems you have to be really careful with file names and sizes on some phones.

On our Samsung SCH-A610 and SCH-A670 some files would not delete after upload (they didn't work, either).

I only got them to delete by turning the phone OFF, THEN connecting via BitPim.

The problems were files over 30kB and capital letters I think.

My wife downloaded a ringer somewhere that actually has quotation marks in the file name, but it works - only BitPim has trouble downloading it from the phone :-)
