Re: Any sites that list ringer formats?: msg#00255mobile.bitpim.user
It seems you have to be really careful with file names and sizes on some phones. On our Samsung SCH-A610 and SCH-A670 some files would not delete after upload (they didn't work, either). I only got them to delete by turning the phone OFF, THEN connecting via BitPim. The problems were files over 30kB and capital letters I think. My wife downloaded a ringer somewhere that actually has quotation marks in the file name, but it works - only BitPim has trouble downloading it from the phone :-) On 3/18/05 3:45 PM, "Francisco Tapia" <fhtapia@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: on my LG VX6100 I found that the MP3 phone names had to be in 8.3 ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
