Hi,

thanks for the answer.
Unfortunately it didn't work. I tried files from both phones, and neither plays. (I changed the file ending to .qcp).

So I am still looking. There has to be a file format that can play these...

in my search to find a way to play my voice memos on my PC

You've perhaps already found how to play QCP files, but the "PureVoice" software can be downloaded free from Qualcomm's site www.cdmatech.com/solutions/products/purevoice.jsp <http://www.cdmatech.com/solutions/products/purevoice.jsp>. It enabled me to play a voice memo that had been copied into my computer with Windows Explorer after initially looking into the phone's file tree with BitPim. On my VX6100 the voice files are labeled by date and time.
