Based on my interpretation of the spec, extensions are allowed for
types/properties and not parameters, so that format might not strictly conform.

That's a good idea, I missed that when I went through the spec. I'll use that
instead. Being consistent of the current vCards implementation, I'll use
phone, phone2, ... prefix for those groupings.

I saw that and was contemplating of using those properties. I decided against
using them 'cause according to the spec, photos are pictures of the contacts,
and sounds are pronunciations of their names. But as long as we agree on what
they mean within BitPim, that should be fine.

I guess the goal of this excercise is to preserve as much contacts information
as possible between import and export.
