Just checked
and it works on the 6100 also. I guess If I was to pick up that owners manual and look through it might help!
Of course I also need to find my glasses too, and that is often the
problem!

Don't know if it works the same on your LG phone, but on teh
4400 you can go to MENU - Settings - Security, put in your lock code, and you
get an option to erase the phone book.
